These terms govern your use of roai.us. By using this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who we are

ROAI is an AI ROI advisory firm. This site publishes our research, methodology, and interactive tools, and lets you engage us for advisory work, buy research papers, and subscribe to ongoing content.

Content ownership

Everything we publish on this site, including articles, the ROAI Method, our maturity assessment, research papers, and the code behind our interactive tools, is owned by ROAI or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright. You may read, cite, and share links to our content. You may not republish, resell, or present our work as your own without our written permission.

If you buy a research paper, you're licensed to use it for your own internal purposes. The watermark on your copy names you as the licensed recipient; redistributing it isn't part of that license.

Not professional advice

Everything on this site, including the ROI calculator, maturity assessment, model selector, and every published article, is general information and an illustrative model. None of it is professional, financial, legal, or accounting advice, and none of it is a guarantee of any outcome. The numbers our tools produce depend entirely on the assumptions you enter. Decisions about your organization's AI investment should be made with input from people who know your specific situation, which our published content and free tools cannot know.

Advisory engagements are governed by a separate signed agreement, not by these terms.

Accounts

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since sign-in runs through Google. Don't share access to your account. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.

Purchases and subscriptions

Buying a research paper or subscribing is governed by these terms together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices are shown before checkout, in the currency and with the tax Stripe calculates for your location.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to:

• Attempt to bypass access controls on paid content
• Scrape or bulk-download content beyond normal reading
• Interfere with the site's security or availability
• Submit false information through our forms

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site and everything on it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, ROAI isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on our published content or tool outputs. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our services evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ROAI is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here overrides mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
