Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers research papers and subscriptions bought through roai.us.

Research papers

If you're not satisfied with a paper you bought, email us in writing within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund it. Your access to the paper is revoked once the refund is processed. Because a watermarked copy identifying you has already been delivered at the moment of purchase, we reserve the right to decline a refund on a repeated request from the same account.

Subscriptions

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't offer partial-period refunds for monthly subscriptions.

Annual subscriptions are refundable pro rata if you cancel within 30 days of purchase.

Organization subscriptions

If you reduce the number of seats on an organization subscription, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing period, not immediately.

Your right of withdrawal (EU/UK)

If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content without giving a reason. Because our research papers are delivered to you immediately on purchase, that right can only be waived with your express consent, given before delivery, acknowledging that you lose the right to withdraw once the paper is delivered. We ask for that acknowledgement in checkout, before your download is enabled. You can still request a refund under the 14-day policy above even after waiving the separate legal withdrawal right.

Email hello@roai.us with your order details. We aim to process refunds within 5 business days.
